" Be the architect of your future self "
Assuming that you want transformation and that you have a Numen ring, here is some good tips to accelerate with minimal effort.
We recommend Micro Transformations:
- A simple embodied practice
- Less than a minute
- Many times a day
Set alarms, as many as you find helpful, and do the practice right there, in the midst of your daily life. The magic is that it works. It is the most effective way to change our patterns and it is evidence based. Try it today.
Carry the ring with you and use it as a reminder to practice. And more. It can also be a portal to or catalyst of your chosen theme.
Use the tactility of the ring and couple it with the embodied feeling of your theme. You will create a feed back loop between the ring and the state making it easier to invoke.
The Numen ring emanates 8 universal principles, each with many layers of deep value. Look into the depth and wisdom of those on the Principles page. Be inspired and make your own theme for a micro-practice.
Change is not easy. It requires rewiring the nervous system. "Neurons that fire together, wire together." Repetition is essential to release old patterns that no longer serve us and to cultivate new, meaningful ones.
We "practice" all the time anyway, so why not choose to practice deliberately ?
Use the three steps below. They are very effective.
These three steps offer a simple method to change that aligns with how our nervous system adapts.
It’s a time-tested and evidence based way to cultivate new habits and literally re-pattern ourselves. If you want to deepen you capacity for trust, joy, courage or any virtue, this will be effective.
In the following, we’ll refer to these as “the quality” you wish to grow.
The Numen ring can serve as a tactile enabler. Its shape features three natural circles, symbolizing and guiding the flow of this process.
Evoke
Begin by bringing the quality you want to cultivate into your awareness. Take a slow, deep breath. Visualize a moment when the quality made a difference or think of someone who naturally expressed it.
Set a clear intention for how you’ll apply the quality in the near future.

Embody
Shift from thought to felt experience.
Tune into your body and notice sensations connected to the quality.
Adjust your posture, breath, and expression to physically embody the feeling.
Allow yourself to fully experience this state, even if briefly.
Act now if possible: Let the quality guide your words, movements, and actions,
Or rehears: Visualize a situation ahead. Feel yourself showing up from the quality and notice how it plays out

Evolve
Be receptive and notice what has shifted in the environment. Observe what has shifted in you, and stay present with your current state. Appreciate your effort and consider any adaptations for continuous development.

"We don’t rise to the level of our expectations; we fall to the level of our training"
Initiation: Make a small ritual where you consciously choose to carry the numen ring. Assign a meaning or purpose to it that resonates with you and empowers your path. You can expand or change it along the way.
Repetition: We know what it take to learn to play an instrument well, or learn a language. It's the same here. Only by intentionally doing it again and again we will establish a new "habit" that replaces the old one. It is worth while. See our text about Micro Transformation above.
Tactility: The more of our senses we get engaged in transformation, that more likely we are to succeed. Embodiment. Use the tactility of the numen in what ever practice you are doing. Assign meanings to your particular way of touching and sensing it.
That will leave an imprint in your nervous system. Then repeat. Just like learning to play an instrument.
Ask: Let your fingers explore the shape of the numen. Let them wonder around by them selves to engage your body intelligence and maybe it leads to new insights. Ask for guidance to whatever you are facing at the moment. Be curious and see what comes.
Guiding question: Another way is to formulate a question that opens in the direction you wish to shed light. If you need inspiration, then look around on this website. Use the question for a while. Sit with it in silence or walk with it in nature.
Morning: Make a mini ritual when you put it on or when you see it in the mirror. Maybe set an intentions for the day and you hold the ring with your fingers.
During the day: Use the ring to remind you of your current path. Touch it and do a micro practice any time. Especially before or in situation where you get a little challenged, or simple want to handle with more skill. Check in with your intention.
Evening: Reflect on the day and how your intention unfolded. If you take it off, let the ring recharge over night in a good place.
Ceremonies, retreats and workshops: Bring it and use it. Place it on the Altar if there is one. Let others bless it or engage with it. Use it as an anchor to bring back insights and help you integrate them in your lived life.
In groups: Pass it around as a "talking ring". Use it to start a conversation where authenticity and sincere engagement is important. And where there is a shared purpose that is important to "speak from". Frame it in a way that inspires the group and invites each person to show up with both dignity and humility.
Recycle: If you don't use it, pass it on to somebody who might, please. The numen wants to be used, and some in your community could benefit from it.
